Problems in sending mails from cox.net accounts..

Some of you have found to your displeasure that mails you send to me
from cox accounts either disappear or bounce back after several days. 

There is an incompatibility between cox and asu.edu mail servers--and
this has been the case for quite a long time. 

To ensure definite delivery of your mail, you might do one of the
following

(a) send  your mail to rao@enws209.eas.asu.edu (this way the mail 
    skips the indirection through asu.edu mail server)

(b) use asu.edu servers to send your mail

the asu smtp servers as the default smtp server rather than use the
