If you have seen my IJCAI-99 tutorial slides, the main differences include (a) a stronger focus on metric and temporal domains, with a discussion on how the various classical technqiues can be adapted to these domains (b) better connection to scheduling and (c) a more comprehensive discussion on the distance-based relaxed heuristics for planners.
