Is intelligent life inevitable?

If you folks weren't so busy hacking away at the project, you would have 
noticed that PBS is broadcasting a very nice 4-part 8-hour series on 
Evolution this week. (All of the parts will be rebroadcast continuously on 
Sunday 30th starting 11am).

Anyway, here is an interesting "quiz" they developed as part of the 
program--the question is evolutionarily speaking, do you think intelligent
