Folks:
As I may have mentioned, I would like to use the forum one last time as a vehicle for interactive semester review. Specifically, go to the forum thread

The thread asks you to:
1. list five or more non-trivial ideas, cross-connections etc that you were able to appreciate during the course of this semester. (These cannot be gratuitous jargon dropping of the "I thought Bayes Nets were Groovy" variety--and have to include some justification).
2. Comment on at least one other person's posting in this thread (so it is not just write only..)
This assignment needs to be completed before the beginning of class on Monday.
The collection of your responses will serve as a form of interactive review of the semester.
If you need to refresh your memory, the class notes page at http://rakaposhi.eas.asu.edu/cse571 has brief description of what was covered in each of the lectures.
Note: This is not meant to be a fishing expedition for compliments; while I am of course interested in hearing about how the teaching/course worked for you, the right venue for that feedback is the Fulton teaching evaluations (which I hope you all participate in). For this thread, please stick to the content that you particularly liked.
