If you found the text analysis and modeling topics discussed in today's class interesting, you might consider the IR/II/IM course that I will be teaching next spring.

The course page is at http://rakaposhi.eas.asu.edu/cse494 and will give you an idea of what the course is about.

The course is full currently, but I will give space overrides to anyone from 571 who wants to take it (as I am interested in having AI-aware (as against purely cushy-job-seeking ;-) people in that class..)
