Apparently I misread the final exam schedule. The published time for final exams for classes that meet M/W 4:30--5:50 is Monday December 14th: 12:10-2pm

 Since not enough people have done all that well on the sanity test, and since I spent a lot more time than I expected actually teaching the graphical models stuff, I am thinking of having a second test for the class.   It may be either in class (in which case it will be on Tuesday 18th from 5:40--6:50pm--the designated final exam time for this class), or take-home (in which case I will give it right around after then final class and it will be due back on or before 18th.

ps: We have four classes left. I expect to spend almost 2.5 classes on LDA and the remaining will be other applications of graphical models (such as deep belief networks). There won't be any other major new topics introduced.
