Fwd: A better reference for collapsed gibbs sampling on LDA..



The tutorial paper suggested by Yuheng does seem to be more accessible than either of the other two papers.

In addition to the PNAS paper that Rao mentioned to you, you may also
check Gregor Heinrich's Parameter estimation for text analysis (the
PDF is attached). This very well-written very useful draft explains
everything in detail about collapsed gibbs sampling used in LDA.
