next class topic: Latent Semantic Indexing

Folks:
 Next class I will do latent semantic indexing. You should try to 
read the paper by Deerwester and Dumais (in the reading list) 
before coming to class.  You may also want to read the slides for LSI
from the old lecture notes (topic number 4--correlation analysis and
LSI)
