Current cumulatives (out of ~60% graded)
Folks:
Here is a "core-dump" of the class grade sheet. (It is a
bitmap attachment--if you can't see it well in your mail, see it on class
mail archive. Since the rows are quite wide, I repeated the postign id in
several places ). As of now, we have graded material worth 60% of your
grade.
The remaining 40% is to come from one more project, one more homework,
and the final. This assumes that we are going to take only best 4 of the
5 projects into consideration. Since project 5 is significantly
easier than the other 4 projects, I propose to take best 3 of the first 4
projects + project 5 every one (I am open to discussion on this
scheme--bring it up next class). [Note that right now, I took all
the three graded projects into consideration...]
I also updated the extra credit points for all the students.
The last column--titled % relative--essentially computes your
relative percentage score assuming that the top scoring student in your
subgroup (598 or 471) gets 100%. This gives you a rough idea of your
relative performance. The column titled % gives the absolute
percentage of marks.
