Folks:
 Here are the final cumulatives.

The first four columns are normalized totals for homeworks, projects,
exams and participation. 

As promised, I calculated the cumulatives in 4 different ways--the
standard way, ignoring particpation credit, giving higher weight to exams
and giving higher weight to projects. The last column shows the best
cumulative for each person across
the four ways of calculating the numbers.

The column titled "extra credit" is the extra credit points you
accumulated--normalized in such a way that they can be
added to your best total. It is in "Gray" to signify that I
won't be looking at them in deciding grade thresholds ;-)

The last column--"relativized percentages"--scales the best
totals such that the highest in the class becomes 100%--this gives you a
"relative" sense of your standing. 

The magic of number-to-letter conversion will be done tonight--this
longest night of Winter Solstice--using some combination of HAC,
buck-shot, and collaborative filtering techniques, with the probabilities
extracted using naive bayes techniques. Virtual views of your projects
and exams may be used in giving you an integrated grade. 

Finally, dimensionality reductions techniques--I mean LSI of course--will
be used to reduce your multi-dimensional performance in this class to a
single letter grade to be stored in the Registrar's office. 

Other than that, we are done. Have a very merry Makara Sankranti (and a
happy new year before that).
