What did you like most about this course?
The instructor is one of the foremost experts of this topic in his
field. He conveys both a sense of understanding, and a sense of
enthusiasm for the material. This course presented an enormous volume
of in depth knowledge, and was extremely worth taking.
Interesting topic, enthusiastic instructor. Very broad scope.
The materials covered in the class are very interesting. The ideas given by the instructor are very insightful.
The structuring as a "true" graduate class.
The instructor. The way he teaches and makes the students understand is
just amazing. Clear thoughts, highly enthusiastic, great knowledge
about the area and a really good teacher. The readings for each class
which might seem kind of confusing before class is just "totally
understood" after the class. Each class makes you think and learn new
concepts, all credits to the instructor. Makes every topic interesting
and can talk about anything a student can ask for. I just wanted the
class to go for ever!
What did you like least about this course?
The pace of the class and the prior assumed knowledge for this course
was offputting. Having not taken the prerequisite course with this
particular instructor I felt persistently behind on material.
Very fast-paced, little time to catch up (e.g. quizzes or homeworks).
The final exam...
Even as a graduate class, there should have been some more graded work
- this course was stuck between being a complete seminar and being a
"course" course.
Nothing.
Comments
Very little evaluation of knowledge by the instructor. I'll be curious to see how we are graded.
An excellent course for AI lovers. The instructor is just too good,
amazing teacher and highly knowledgeable. Great learning experience and
the best class I have taken so far. I wish there were some more
classes!
