Feedback for markoviana

Folks

Thank you all for coming to the markoviana seminars--looks like it was one of the larger graduate
classes this semester ;-)

If you took the class for credit, remind me to give you a grade.

As I mentioned on friday, one of the things I would like to request you all is to provide some anonymous feedback

(through the link http://rakaposhi.eas.asu.edu/cgi-bin/mail?rao but note that it gives away your IP; see the example below)

(if you want to use a more robust anonymizer, try https://riot.eu.org/anon/remailer.html.en it seems to work but the mail takes 48hours
to reach)

about the benefits--if any--of this type of courses. The background on this is that the department wants
to know whether courses of this type--meeting just once a week and aimed at advanced graduate students--
are seen to be sufficiently useful for graduate students. One argument against these is that 591 special topics courses
are supposed to do this anyway. So, your comparison/contrast with 591 style courses will also be helpful.

You can use the following template for feedback. Thanks ---Rao

(text answers now)
How does this course compare with graduate level courses (e.g. 591s) that you have taken here?

Do you think there is a need for these types of seminar courses in addition to regular 591s?

Any other comments you may have
