(this will be the very last mail.. I promise ;-)

Hi y'all

Hope the summer has been treating you well.

I just received the CEAS teaching evaluation scores, and I thought you
might be moderately curious to ascertain whether or not the wayward
instructor got his just desserts.

I myself was quite curious to find out how the course was received
given that it has been a while since I taught a brand-new made-up
course, and I was barely trying to keep a class ahead of you at
several points. As it turned out, the course's ratings--4.67 global
and 4.55 instructor average--are the highest I managed for any UG
course I have taught here. I must be reasonably good at projecting a
false sense of omniscience.

I appreciate the many kind as well as critical *written* comments (not
a single comment about LSI though).

I am now considering changing my schedule in Spring 2002 and offer
this course again. So much for the tangible after-effects of your
evaluations :->

regards
Rao

Ps: For all the comments that the course was too hard or too time
consuming: "Thanks. Just the way it was intended!" ;-)
