The talks will be mostly by the faculty and some visitors. Some studnets may also give talks but it will be less student centric this time, mainly to get faculty perspective on the diferent aspects of this interesting and broad topic. The first talk will be tomorrow in GWC 308 and will be given by Hasan Davulcu, an assistant professor who just joined our department. He will present the following paper and some related topics. H. Davulcu, S. Mukherjee, I.V. Ramakrishnan. Extraction Techniques for Mining Services from Web Sources. IEEE International Conference on Data Mining, December 9 - 12, 2002, Maebashi City, Japan.
